I don’t understand people who are cruel towards other people’s misfortunes. I feel like there’s an increasingly popular trend where people will look down on poor countries and judge the people there and say they’re bad or they’re immoral or they’re inferior or stupid or whatever. To me that just seems extortionately pathetic. I was born in a developed democracy. Not everyone is born in a country that’s developed or a democracy. I didn’t do anything to achieve that, it was just luck and nothing more. And if you really are lucky to be born in a wealthy country, why would your first choice be to waste your time insulting people who were less lucky who aren’t even near you? That doesn’t make any sense. I hate to say it, but some people are just evil.

It’s also ironic the "Christian nationalist / white nationalist" types say all this crap about the rich countries being superior and the poor countries being filled with inferior people. Yet that seems like the exact opposite of what Jesus actually said.
