All people are squishy. I’ve never understood tough guys for this reason. Someone, or a group, or someone armed with intent, can end anyone. Jon Jones is the toughest guy in the cage but not against the grill of a Mack truck. This is why people need to be wise as to the distinctions between fighting and violence.

Something I thought is kind of interesting is that most American adults, male or female have never been in a fight, and even though there are more guns than people in the United States, most Americans don’t own guns. Also in wars, most of the people killed are killed by a minority of the soldiers. I think the explanation is that men aren’t actually more violent than women, it’s just there’s a minority of men who are psychopaths and men are more likely to be psychopaths than women, but most people actually aren’t violent at all.

I just think it’s interesting, in modern wars, the rate of death from suicide is actually higher than the actual number of troops who die in combat. Which probably says something about the psychology of the average person.
