If you look into the history of Uganda, it’s kind of crazy. Basically, originally, there were black people living there (it’s Africa obviously). Then the British colonized it, and the British had this crazy idea that they could kick all the black people out and create a Jewish state in Uganda, and the British imported a bunch of Indians to Uganda to work there. Then the whole Zion in Uganda thing didn’t work out, the British Empire fell, and Idi Amin came to power, who was an anti semitic Muslim black supremacist and admirer of Adolf Hitler who kicked out all Asians, killed ~500,000 people, and then attempted to invade Tanzania but lost the war and sought refuge in Saudi Arabia, then died there in 2003.

Tbh, I brought it up not because I have any feelings about Muslims or Marxism or anything more-so than how interesting the whole Uganda thing is. I feel like in the US they don’t teach anything about African history in the public education system that’s not related to the trans Atlantic slave trade. But Idi Amin is a really interesting character. It’s safe to say he was a bad guy, but it’s still just such a crazy story. White people invaded Africa, wanted to kick the blacks out and create a state for the Jews, then they lost their empire and a black guy decided he was going to be the next Hitler and send suicide paratroopers to Israel. I think in that video they actually had a clip of him saying he was recruiting Vietnamese, French, and Japanese people to die as suicide paratroopers in an invasion of Israel. It’s just the most insane thing.

I feel like I can see why they wouldn’t mention it though. It’s so crazy it’s hard to make any ideological narrative about it. Because, essentially, kicking people out of your country based on ethnicity alone is fascist, except the leader was a black supremacist and his country was colonized by white people, who wanted to replace black people with Jews. What narrative do you even make about that? It’s like who’s the good guy? Is there a good guy?
