There's no real point, this site gets so few posts that it's not difficult to find the thread before it gets locked after a week.

Personally I use the watchlist so that posts in those topics get delivered to the browser extension/android app.

I use it for the app notifier, but it would become redundant if my own threads were automatically considered watched when I post them.
