SPOILERS ahead. For a 22 year old film.
I went with it when I was young.
Now I question everything. Why not run a high tensile line to Andy? Figure out the sewer link to his gun store? Why not drop heavy items off the roof to thin out the hordes. He’ll, they might crowd crush each other if you just launch marbles.
They go on a foolhardy exit, with insufficient supplies, and sail to an island that’s swarming.
Prior to that, they discard CJ’a advice and let in a bunch of idiots, two infected, and useless idiots like the redhead and Steve, who doesn’t watch a critical door. I’d have shot him in the head for neglecting guard duty.
The group is led by a virtue signaling nurse and a guy with no quals other than dead end jobs.
They don’t collect rain water, don’t try to grow anything, and don’t ration, but maybe that’s the reality. Waiting for someone to show up and save them. They don’t even build interior defenses or mazes beyond the outer walls.
