We need to make sure nobody is born with psychopath genes, nobody is exposed to lead, everybody is born on January first, everybody is born to rich parents, and everybody is the first born child because first borns have slightly higher IQs on average.

We also need to make sure people have two parents in the household, they have as few siblings as possible, they go to college, and they study medicine, law, or engineering.

We also need to optimize their height since shorter people have worse career and relationship prospects but taller people live shorter lives on average because the taller you are the more stress it puts on your heart.
This might be explained by being slightly older/younger than your peers.

Of course, everything about getting a job, networking, and owning capital comes down to how much money you have, at least initially.
Even if you are hard working, you will be catching to where other people started.

Employers still want employees who get more done.
If they get more done because they had a leg up, what does that change for an employer who just wants better performance.
The most effective way to help out those with less would be a demographically-blind needs test. If one group is systematicaly discriminated against they will automatically get more help because they are in a worse situation, and people can't complain of discriminatory aid if it's actually demographically-blind. Unfortunately, it's usually leftists who call this reductionist, and ignore the automatic adjustment for multivariant discrimination in favor of explicit race/sex based affirmative action which is politically hard to pass and keep- so very little actually gets done.

Because we're talking about meritocracy, and the conversation about that is along those left-right lines.
You already know that, but keep playing dumb and getting mad at the term leftist. You keep complaining about that term, but never actually say what the problem is.

Call it whatever you want, but there is a "left" opinion on meritocracy and a "right" opinion of meritocracy.

There’s also I don’t give a shit I’m just saying whatever I feel like saying because I’m not an ideologue and the left right political spectrum is stupid.

I took the political compass test in high school as part of my political science test and ended up dead in the middle. I don’t have extreme views on anything.
