Yes. I had friends and acquaintances who were. Hell, I was in 9th grade. Many of us simply wake up to reality and avoid women who need emotional tampons. One friend was always trying to rescue women but his mother was an institutionalized bipolar nutter who tried to kill him. He stopped trying to fix damaged women by 30, so better late than never.

I would have to think guys age out of it. Maybe they turn to parasocial relationships and throw money at OnlyFans. If you’re dating in the 35-50 band stakes are lower. I’m not trying to be insensitive. It’s just that they’re not 25, and the culmination of a relationship with awful missionary sex where she urges you to finish quickly due to perimenopause issues does not beget fawning and fantasy.
“Men are such pigs. Why do they pursue younger women? They need to grow up!”
Show me the incentive and I’ll show you the outcome.

There's definitely women who get better with age but generally skill & enthusiasm seems to be subtractive. Like she's got a Limited amount of encounters in her and afterwards it's just a chore.

Yeah. I mean I was one myself. All it took was a retrospect of my life, tally the wins and losses and ask myself the difficult questions.
The reality came when everyone clowns you for it and its frown upon. Wasting time jerking off, gooning. Losing arguments and debates online with strangers who wipe their ass with my opinions.
Acceptance with discomfort was the key I guess.
Nowadays I just focus on my hobbies, my studies for my certifications, gym and just cultivate and maintain a small circle of friends when I can.
At a certain point one just gets tired of losing and being a loser and bitching about it.

Just learn to tell a good story. I’m divorced and I keep a room in my house minimalist. Women seem to like to imagine it as a nursery. Of course I’m open to another family! I love to travel! “You’re the first woman who has turned my head since I lost my wife, and it scares me.”
Honestly it doesn’t matter. It’s nothing they haven’t done before. Why should men put up with being the dependable one who does all the boring shit? The institutional nature of relationships and responsibilities is soul deadening. Hell, women complain about that but that’s what they ultimately demand. Fealty and control.
Know that they are doing the same in their ruthless assessment. Better to put out than be put out to the pasture.
There were a couple I could imagine a life with. But then their true colors showed.

True. The older Internet trope of avoiding American women was more selective. Generally they meant white and middle class or upper. The entitlement can be off the charts. I’ll take the 33 y/o Latina, thanks.

I mean im not actively avoiding them. They’re just not my focus as it was before. Time is limited(as cliche as that sounds) so out of necessity thinking about that stuff doesnt really contribute meaningfully in my life.
