I was talking about politics on another website the other day. Somebody brought something up I didn’t even think about. When Charlie Kirk got shot, president Biden did nothing. When Charlie Kirk got killed, Biden didn’t order an FBI investigation, he didn’t do a media appearance in the Oval Office saying political violence is bad. He didn’t even send out a tweet. The democrats have no grace, they’re incompetent, and we should hold Biden accountable. Just because he’s not the president any longer doesn’t mean we shouldn’t hold him accountable for what he did while he was in office. Charlie Kirk died under his watch, and he did nothing. He failed to respond to the situation. Charlie Kirk could have probably lived if Biden let the ambulances in. But the ambulance didn’t show up in time, they let him bleed out.

So you are leaving out the context here which is that he said lowering standards for a group will mean people will be concerned about that group's ability.
If you were being honest you wouldn't need to leave out the justification/context for the statement.

Yes, and this isn't some gotcha for him being killed.
Taking away the right for people to defend themselves will just lead to even more deaths.
It's a lesser of two evils, even in the wale of his death.

If you think kirk was a hateful idiot, why not quote him honestly? You can give his actual justification, the actual context of the quote, and still disagree with him.

Something I wonder about is why presidents don’t need any type of job qualification, I think that’s stupid. Trump for example obviously has no idea about military strategy. Obama didn’t either, but I think he was more successful militarily just because of innate intellect. Which, sometimes that works out, but we can’t make them go through a training course on troop movements or something?
