What happens when everyone dies and you’re all alone? In 300 million years a hellish supercontinent forms. Mammalian life dies. Plate tectonics ends in 1.45 billion years and mountains are blown to dust. The oceans evaporate. The Earth becomes another Mercury as the sun dies and consumes the planet in 5 billion years. We may have automated bases on Titan, Ceres, and Mars, but people won’t exist.
