@previous (B)Tbh men with long hair isn’t a big deal. Even in the west the idea that men can’t have long hair is a fairly recent thing. Originally it was a status symbol that wealthy people could have longer hair because they weren’t out working in the fields. The way it became associated with gender is obviously women did less physical labor than men, especially in conservative societies, so it lost the association with wealth.
But even in the west, originally, it wasn’t feminine.

I guess it’s because I associate gothic churches with western Christianity, but it’s because the church is from before that, so that’s why it looks like that. It’s a Romanesque church. I worked a development job and the current fixation is the cheapest materials in the shortest timeline. Architects design crappy box office buildings for suburban office parks and communities that, from above, look like POW camps.
