I haven't used shampoo for 4 weeks. I read that after 6 weeks it naturally starts balancing itself out with natural sebum and looks great.
So I have only been using water. But I have not washed the hair for like 5 days also because my shower broke.

If you are using this technique, then you need to "wash" with conditioner. First, vigorously scrub your scalp under running water. Then work conditioner through hair, including roots and also scrub scalp again. End with another rinse and just water scrub. Some people rinse with vinegar a few times a week as well.
