Yeah, idk. You can find Eric Harrises journal / manifesto / diary online from the columbine school shooting. For the longest time, I only ever copied and pasted parts of it to troll on the internet, but I actually read through a bit of it one time. I wouldn’t recommend it. The thing is, even if you have zero empathy and you’re a complete psychopath, there isn’t really a logical reason to go and kill a bunch of people as a regular civilian. It doesn’t really advantage you in any particular way. If you think about psychopaths who are relatively smart like Vladimir Putin for example, it doesn’t make sense to kill people if you don’t have the legal authority to do it. It makes much more sense to try to become powerful first, then kill people. If Hitler was stupid and went and shot up his local neighborhood in Germany he wouldn’t have killed millions of people because then they’d just execute him and then the whole thing would be done with.

One of the things that’s weird about Hitler though, is people commonly point out that one major contradiction with his ideology is he was a white supremacist but he allied with the Japanese who are Asian. I thought about it a bit more, and the more I thought about it the more I realized Hitler’s ideology doesn’t make any sense, because he thought the Slavs were inferior even though they’re white and look just like Germans, but the Japanese were superior, but the Koreans were inferior even though they look just like the Japanese. So I read through some bits of Mein Kampf instead of just the cherry picked stuff where people try to make it sound like he had an overwhelmingly positive view of the Japanese (he said some less than positive stuff as well). I think Hitler was smart enough that he literally just invented his entire racial ideology over which countries he thought would help him win a war to take over the world and nothing else. Because if you read it that way it makes a lot more sense.
