This is a picture of both objects humans have walked on.
The largest empire in history conquered 25% of the larger white dot, and the wealthiest nation in history sent 12 people to walk on the smaller white dot.

Yeah but that big dot is where all of the cool stuff actually is. The rest of the galaxy is boring. Does Andromeda or whatever have any McDonald's? No, probably not. Who cares.

Fun fact:
The fastest man made object ever is the Parker Solar Probe which reached a top speed of 692,000 km/h. The closest star Proxima Centauri is 4.24 light years away, or roughly 40 trillion kilometers. That means it would take the Parker Solar Probe 57,803,468 hours or about 6,598 years to reach it if it was headed in the right direction. There are about 100 billion to 400 billion stars in our galaxy and there are about 2 trillion galaxies in the *observable* universe.

Earth from 6 billion kilometers away from the sun. The Earth is 150 million kilometers away from the sun, so if you round it, this is also 6 billion kilometers away from the Earth.

Ugh who caaaaaares all of that shit is boring. Ohhh no, we're really far away from a load of rocks where the atmosphere and the soil will kill us, I'm so disappointed.
Actually, I'm glad it's all so big. If there are evil aliens out there somewhere, then we probably won't meet them any time soon. At least not in my lifetime.
