Topic: The success of OnlyFans says much more about men than women.

I know it’s fun to say there is an endless supply of skanks, water seeking its level, etc. The fact is, the gooner economy turned these places from artistic creator platforms to porn sites. This way guys with no partner or an unavailable/less sexual/long relationship partner can have a parasocial relationship with a video creator. Guys jerking off has OnlyFans set to possibly achieve parity with Hollywood.

I'm old enough to remember getting a boob in an "R" rated movie or men's interest magazines was it... I dunno, mixed feelings on all of it. Acknowledging humans aren't immune from desire like the rest of the animal kingdom is a start. I'd rather government and corporations kept their dirty hands out of it though.

I remember magazines. Hustler was a momentous occasion when I could trick the stoned guy at the convenience store to sell me one.

Remember the erotic thrillers? As a teenager I’d sit there with my trusty VHS tape to build my sex scenes compilation. Now porn is so ubiquitous it’s boring and the acts are so extreme they’re no longer erotic.

To be fair, OnlyFans only makes $7 billion in revenue compared to SpaceX which makes $18 in revenue and Walmart which makes $700 billion in revenue.

Just makes you realize what a rational society we live in.

It’s interesting how breasts have been sexualized so much in the west when if you actually think about it logically it’s hard to come up with a good reason for how breasts are sexual. Like, you can show cleavage without it being nudity, but you can’t show the nipple, even though that’s the part men also have. And you could say that women have breasts to attract men, but I took an anthropology class that went over primatology where they talked about the anatomical differences between humans and other apes. Other ape species like Chimpanzees only have breasts when they’re nursing their young or when they’re pregnant, they don’t have breasts all the time. So you’d think that’s a sign that breasts are inherently always present in human women for attracting men. Except, it’s not just breasts, human women always look like they’re fertile when other ape species have weird things like their butts will swell up when they’re ovulating and the males will only have sex with the females when they’re fertile. And then there are other things like for example, gorillas are mostly herbivorous, they eat leaves mostly, but male gorillas have much larger canines than human males because apes tend to have larger canine teeth when there’s more male competition over fertile females. But male humans have feminized canine teeth and female humans don’t visibly display when they’re ovulating. And it’s also not universal all cultures sexualized breasts, like in Africa for example before Europeans arrived, breasts weren’t sexualized at all, a woman being shirtless was the same difference as a man being shirtless they didn’t think anything of it. So it can’t be instinctual that human males are attracted to breasts. So I could be wrong but I feel like it’s actually to reduce aggression in males since if they don’t know which woman is fertile they can’t fight over her and therefore can live in larger societies.

But I do wonder how that started though, how breasts became sexualized when they’re not really a reproductive organ in the same way a penis or a vagina is.

Then obviously human males are stronger than human females, but compared with other apes, human males are incredibly weak. Other apes don’t need to work out to maintain muscle mass. Chimps spend most of their time lying around and they look like body builders. So there’s something weird going on with human sexual dimorphism.

that which is hidden becomes erotic.

european and american women also used to keep their hair hidden in these goofy ass hats or in buns, butt nao theres a reaction against that and women with their hair down is goncidered hot, while women with rlly short hair or done up in beehive or whatever is like negative sex apeel.

That’s kinda what I was thinking, with Islam for example.

Or even when the Chinese used to practice foot binding. It’s sort of like any body part can arbitrarily be sexualized.

Idk about short hair on women though. I feel like a lot of women can pull it off without looking boyish. Especially black women.

I feel like every white girl I see has the same hairstyle though. Just long should length straight hair, parted in the middle, no braids or twists or anything. Just long straight shoulder length. It’s sort of like the generic thing for some reason.

I guess Asian women are somewhere in between. They have a bit more variation in hair texture than white people. I mean some white people do naturally have curly hair, but it’s a bit rare.

Although now that I think about it, I have seen Asian women who are middle aged or older with short hair. That’s actually pretty common now that I think about it.

It’s also interesting how things change. Like with Asian guys for example, it’s not that weird to see white guys with long hair, but it seems pretty rare for asian men to have long hair. But if you look at Chinese hairstyles from the early 1900s it used to be a lot more common.

I had heard that it is not necessary for breasts to be as prominent as they are for the sole purpose of feeding young. There may indeed have been an evolutionary selection at play based on their appeal alone.
