Topic: Listening to Jazz After Hours on my local NPR station

I haven't listened to this shit since the mid-90s. They called it "Jazz Through the Night" back then. It still runs from 10 pm to 6 am C.S.T. and it's still shit Jazz. Just like back then they purposefully leave out anything unorthodox. You won't hear Albert Ayler on the pussy ass "Jazz After Hours". It's all commercial Jazz. The kind of shit I used to hear in New Orleans when I lived there. Sappy, touristy, shit meant to fleece idiots of their shekels. Nothing too "controversial".

I've commited to finishing this 12 pack of Coors Light and listening to this shit until it's over at 6 a.m. just for old times sake.

Thank you for reading my blog and be sure to sign the guest book on the way out.

Outstanding. I'm damn near about to sub up for The New Yorker myself. I like a little pretentious in my life as well.
