There’s a state park, a historic Catholic Church, and a plantation tour. I don’t do a lot of plantation tours. Usually they whitewash the master as an enlightened and totally not fucking his wards, buying the vegetables slaves grew at market prices, educating them or whatever. Then you learn the plantation is a “non-profit” often run by ancestors. So they get tax free passive income from having owned slaves.
You think? I mean, I get the idea of maximizing inherited assets but damn. Imagine a Cambodian genocide museum owned and operated by a former Khmer Rouge killer.
I know nothing of the film business. I do know economic development and have seen small towns get a nice bump from local filming. Food, occupancy rates, local supplies or contractors. We had one township that lured smaller horror and apocalyptic productions to its old industrial area. I just wonder if everyone who participates will be dead in 20 years from asbestos and chemical exposure.

In all seriousness, I'll do it for $1,000. I'll even sign a contract guaranteeing it. And I mean it will appear in the movie.
