Topic: Elon’s Mars obsession is another scam.

Anonymous A started this discussion 1 hour ago #135,618

Who wants to live on a desolate and deadly planet? You’d live in some biosphere hoping the gravity generator works. Terraforming isn’t possible with existing tech and would be a ridiculous waste of resources.

Fun facts about Mars:

1. It is colder than Antarctica

2. The soil is toxic to humans

3. It has 1% the atmospheric density of Earth

4. The ground is red and so is the sky

Sounds like a fun existence to me.

Did I mention that the reason why Mars doesn’t have a dense atmosphere is because Mars has a weaker magnetic field than Earth which means it isn’t protected from the solar wind which has stripped away the Martian atmosphere? This means the surface radiation level on Mars is 50 times higher than it is on Earth. So that’s fun for your odds of developing cancer.

Tbh I don’t get why people think that if Elon is a trillionaire and he goes to Mars that Mars will be some futuristic paradise instead of a place that’s poorer than the poorest third world country on this planet because it’s harder to survive there than it is to survive on the poorest third world country on the planet here. I’m just saying, when Europeans started settling in North America, in Jamestown they had a thing called starving time where the European settlers resorted to cannibalism, and that’s on Earth where you can actually breathe the air.

> gravity generator

Not a real thing, for a Mars colony at least.

Rotating space stations can generate artificial "gravity" though.

Gravity is interesting, because we know that mass and energy are equivalent and that it bends space, but if you start looking into why, it’s sorta, we just know that it does. All the sci fi space time bending technologies are probably impossible unless there’s some way to bend space other than making a really heavy object, like a planet.

Gravity assist is cool though. You can use gravity to slingshot yourself ahead of a plant.

Apparently there was some theory that maybe gravity had a force carrying particle called a graviton but apparently there’s no evidence they exist so it’s probably fundamentally different from every other fundamental force.

Like magnetism is a force and you can make an electromagnet turn on and off because photons are the force carrier of magnetism. But gravity is just space bending so there’s probably no force carrier so you probably can’t turn it on and off which is super lame of the universe to work that way.

If white people are so great, why’d you just send a picture of a white girl shitting all over her own face? Have you ever thought about that or is your peanut brain too small?

Thanks to you I learned something. I looked up the soil and it’s filled with perchlorates (chlorine salts), which is highly toxic and kills plants and poisons water. Add in arsenic, beryllium, and chromium. You’d need to saturate the planet with super bacteria to treat it.

I believe she’s Japanese. You’ve been belatedly introduced to shock picture classic Tubgirl, who occupies a holy trinity with goatse and Lemon Party. On a Mars thread, no less.

It turns out 4 billion years of evolution on the same planet in the same chemical environment can cause the most random unexpected problems on another planet.

Yeah, I’m just gonna say she was white, because it fits my narrative better.

Asians aren’t perfect, but the Japanese have enough problems already. They don’t really need that. We can just blame somebody else. They still need to repair their relationship with Korea.
