The first two-story in my neighborhood was built on a hill. They ran that block, people all wanted to see the view.

They had a ladder.

My house is 120 years old and had a cellar and boiler room originally. The old owners upgraded and installed stairs indoors! It's still gross and full of spiders :(.

I bought a home last occupied by Greatest Generation owners. It was immaculate and the guy was handy. Everything is sturdy and you can’t take a fixture off a wall with a hammer.

It has a crazy “secret room” in the basement where he had his wood shop. I tinker in it but that man was a craftsman.
