Sure, but a lot of that information is one off. I’ve been on a geology binge and some books do a great job telling the story of our planet, which often was an alien environs. Go back to the dinosaurs and none of the plants would be things we recognize. No corn, no fruits like ours, no potatoes.
Go further and you have alien life forms occupying shallow continental seas and skimming bacteria to eat.
