I think that with the influx of poasters whose age starts with a 1, the quality has plummeted. Not like I care, I stopped trying to make it worthwhile a long time ago, just an observation.

Yes, it's not just you noticing it. Maybe a year ago a thread I started was removed from the threads list because the discussion turned to race. You could still access it through your browser's history.

Only a POS and bot-inflated mega board like Reddit can survive because of a constant influx of people and specialized aubreddits. I do wonder if banning enough of those communities will create a rebound effect to other places.
I come from a set of slow dying boards that were curated by nostalgic admins. They all got sick of playing one-man army to every flooding, spamming, and illegal porn posting psycho who latched onto the community. So the outlier psychos certainly help to kill these places.
