You finally had the guts to attack Iran - So we are all on the same page now that interntaional law is dead and we are back to might makes right? Wouldn't call that a win exactly. Yes, Iran is run by a horrible regime that doesn't mean it's ok to go in, assassinate their leaders and bomb them. And "you" didn't even finish the job! The regime is still in power and now likely has a new revenue stream as the will tax the straight. More money for international terrorism. great outcome.
In terms of their ICBM and nuclear programs we are back to square one. Actually worse than square one. What exactly is the difference now compared to the Nuclear deal Trump cancelled in 2018? At least that one was somewhat controlled by the IAEA and they say Iran mostly complied until the US dropped out. IMO Iran will now prioritise their nuclear program even more as it seems to be the only thing stopping a foreign invasion. Their missiles are good enough to cause chaos in the region and a glassed UAE is probably enough to scare away a new attack.
All in all I think this war was rushed and then when the cost mounted the US chickened out, left the job half finished with a now embolded Iran, that will have more money available thanks to the taxation of Hormus. Not to speak of the cost to the US and European economies and the ease on Russias financial situation due to high oil prices.
I agree that the state of our European militaries is abysmal and that should have been rectified after 2014 or 2022 at the latest. We are moving, but slowly.
Edit: The sugar daddy arguments only holds up partially. The US isn't only subsidising European security, it is profiting from it as well. Militarily from bases and economically from politically stable partners that are financially capable of buying loads of American goods. It's not a one way road.
The biggest loss for USA: Iran now effectively controls the Strait of Hormuz, and is the biggest Middle Eastern regional power. Kind of like a gate keeper to the middle east.

Toy Story 3 was a perfect ending. Flawless I would even say. It honors the original storyline while also wrapping it up in a nice little bow. The Return of the King of Toy Story if you will. It made countless people cry and smile while crying. It felt so complete and so beautiful. So of course money hungry Disney had to go and chop it all up!
Disney likely realizes Tom Hanks and Tim Allen can't voice Woody and Buzz forever, and thus are making Jessie the new central character. Will it work? I have my doubts.
There are only 3 Toy Story movies. 4 & 5 don't exist. They're a myth.
'd never thought I'd be here seeing a FIFTH Toy Story film. Yet...here we are...
Truthfully, that franchise should be on the list of films that shouldn't be touched. I.e., The Breakfast Club, Back to the Future, The Godfather, Goodfellas, and The Lord of the Rings.
