You know what, I think it might just be a blurry film picture that was taken in the 1980s with an unstable camera that had bad film with inaccurate colors.

Like, that one looks more real, but it still looks fake. Unless there’s a video game with a level designed after a real abandoned subway station in Berlin…

Upon looking further into it, the image first appeared on Wikipedia in 2008, which would mean somebody in 2008 would have made a blurry rendering of an abandoned subway station in Berlin for the purpose of uploading it to Wikipedia. Which is possible, but now I’m wondering why tf somebody did that.

Now that I’m looking at it even more if it is fake the attention to detail is amazing, the concrete in the ceiling looks the same as the modern digital picture, it’s the same pattern with circular holes in the bricks.

The texture of the floors, the walls, the ceilings and the columns all match the more recent digital picture of the U10 station in Berlin… and it’s at least as old as being from 2008 since that’s how long it’s been on Wikipedia.

You know what? If it’s fake, that’s an impressive amount of effort for 2008 graphics, and if it’s real, it’s impressive somebody’s camera skills are that bad they made something real look completely fake.

These photos also have the issue where they look fake, but I’m pretty confident this one is real. And the fact that it is so bright is making me more convinced that the original is in fact fake.

…I just realized that’s exactly the same railing as from the original picture. There’s no way I refuse to believe this. It looks far too fake there’s no way that’s a real photo.

That does look like a different area though, in the video the columns looked more like they did in the original picture but they still had that horizontal bar connecting the columns.

Wait, that’s the bottom of the staircase. There must be two levels, the video is from the second level, the original image is from the first level. So the first level doesn’t have the horizontal concrete bar because it’s not holding up the weight of the street above. That makes perfect sense.
