Topic: Where is the best place to sit on a plane?

I always get a seat near an exit because I'm tall and need the leg room. But where is the best place to sit? Near the window (don't have to let people out, but it's a pain to get to/from your seat) or near the isle (can move freely but have to let people out, they will probably wake you up)? I have a 23 hour flight in a fortnight. Dreading it.

The pilot's and co-pilot's seats are often pretty comfy and offer a nice view, but these seats are usually taken by people who are unwilling to give them up. It's best to bring a weapon along in case you need to urge anyone out of your selected seat.
