It's called a grift. Eve Online had a working space game the entire window of time this nonsense was going on.

Eve Online is closer to an MMO version of excel than anything. The average star citizen bagholder probably got sucked in by wanting pirates online or the elder scrolls in space. no mans sky and starfield was wwwwwaaaaay closer, but both of them sucked dog lipstick.

Does anyone still buy NFTs? If so I need to get an old computer going and make some “art” with MS Paint for this generation’s tulip bulb mouth breathers to buy.

“You don’t get how it works! It has high value!”

“It’s a bagholder scam. You bought a JPG.”

I literally dont see any difference between Star Citizen ships and NFTs, to be honest. Nobody has demonstrated why they should be considered different things other than angry "trust me bro"s.
