To kill the ticks, we don't need to chemically bomb the forest. We just put certain toxins on cotton balls, leave them where mice will happily use them in their nests. This turns mice into tick vacuum cleaners. People don't know but breeding ticks is easy as using the toilet. I've got over 9000 ticks paying eggs to be spread everywhere within my local area.

permethrin, apparently. You don't want to place them out in the open, mice hate out in the open. Mostly along walls or fallen trees, stuff like that. But where the mice walk, is often where the ticks wait.
