Oh no, there's nothing wrong with the four-in-hand knot. I use it pretty often! It's just that it's a smaller knot, so it doesn't look good with a wider collar, that's all I was saying.
Personally, I favour a nicky knot. A bit bigger, works with most of my collars. It's actually only a few shirts where I can treat myself to a full Windsor.
Funnily enough, there are actually are people on the ties Subreddit who admire that Charlie uses the FIH knot. Personally I couldn't give a shit!
