Topic: I would have handled the 2008 meltdown with mass incarcerations.

A lot of TARP worked, but everyone would have paid it back. I would have levied federal asset forfeiture against the top bankers. Also, no bonuses paid through tax money. I never got that. It wasn’t about employee retention because in a general meltdown they have nowhere else to go.

By "bankers" you mean employees, with emphasis on executives, right?

Meanwhile you don't mention stockholders, i.e. the owners.

Once again minichan is filled with these fedposts planting the idea of accountability only for the working class and not the capital class. White collar executives may be at the top of the working class, but they still sell their talents to a parasite class who themselves need do nothing but cash checks.

It was an institutional failure from top to bottom. Government failed to regulate, greedy investors didn’t ask questions, CEOs engage in fraud, and millions of people were swindled by shady brokers.

I remember having an arm with a variable rate. The math worked. When I went to refinance the base loan, the same bank told me it was high risk and that they’d have to repackage the whole thing into a larger loan with points.

Americans don't care if the USA is a police state, but Americans lose their minds if North Korea has tyranny.
