I found Eddy Murphy in one of the lists, and that amuses me because of his arrest some years ago when driving with a prostitute who was a dude dressed as a lady.

It was an accident. He just happened to be driving and “she” needed a ride. And being a multimillionaire movie star and comedian he casually provided rides to prostitutes.

A small percentage of humanity are considered celebrities, and I'm assuming it's roughly 1:5 who have trans kids maybe even only 1:8, and if it feels higher it would most likely be the visibility of those trans kids or the visibility of the fact they are trans, and that visibility would be socially disproportionate due to the inherent nature of celebrity visibility.
So it's it lots? Or is it like most things in this area where there's just a lot of hullabaloo about a small percentage of humanity who are trans?

12.5% of whatever % of humanity is celebrities, feels ridiculous to make a hullabaloo about, yes.

Now famous people are’t more likely to be trans, but if they were, then you’d have to start wondering if somehow being trans makes you more successful than average, which it doesn’t. So yeah. That’s my take.

You formed your observations about celebrities with trans children from BuzzFeed observations, and you think my opinion is weird?

Check your reading comprehension, when did I say it was "ridiculously low"? In any of my posts? I just don't think it's something to make such a hullabaloo about.
Check your reading comprehension, when did I say it was "weird"? But getting back to the point, you live in a world where 20% of people being trans feels like a reasonable number.

1 in 5? Yeah, I don't see why there would be a problem with that. I don't think 1 in 5 people are trans though, but I do think maybe 1 in 5 kids of celebrities might be trans? Idk, I have no real strong feelings about my ratio just guessing, but I wonder what you think a "reasonable" amount of trans people is?

I was curious about comparing to what seems fairly common in the world, type 1 diabetes. That's only 0.1% prevalence. That puts trans as 5 to 10 times as prevalent as type 1 diabetes.

I'm surprised it isn't higher considering the amount of chemicals and hormones in the ultraprocessed slop known as American food.
