Topic: There are fewer master criminals than there are incompetent police.

I was reading about Rex Heuerman, the Long Island Serial Killer. He was clever, but no genius. The police ended up arresting him on the basis of a witness spotting his vehicle - 12 years ago. That was correlated to some DNA and some geofencing that limited calls he made to victims’ families to a couple hundred homes. But the vehicle reference was critical and long written in a report stumbled across by an FBI agent.

So you have a guy who has pleaded guilty to seven murders. There are several suspicious cases in other states.

What are you planning?

Absolutely nothing. Hurting people doesn’t appeal to me. Predators who “succeed” usually prey on people society doesn’t give a shit about. Including the police. “Oh, a single mother went missing while escorting? Too bad.”

There might be some middle ground on this one - I'd rather they didn't get killed, but the people they round up to say they were selfless philanthropists on the crime special, and they'd give you the shirt off their back, babysit your nephew, and cook you a homecooked meal need to kindly stop lying.

Only if they’re under 18.
