What, did the pilot not stop at the crosswalk or something? Did the pedestrian not wait for the "walk" signal after pushing the button to cross the runway? Was the pilot trying to take off on a crowded city street?> The person, who has not been identified, jumped the airport's perimeter fence and was hit two minutes later while crossing the runway, the airport said.
Uh... they're kinda stretching "pedestrian" here a bit in the headline, even though I guess it does meet the dictionary definition.
