Topic: Pedestrian fatally hit by Frontier airplane departing Denver for Los Angeles, flight canceled

Meta started this discussion 3 weeks ago #134,823

What, did the pilot not stop at the crosswalk or something? Did the pedestrian not wait for the "walk" signal after pushing the button to cross the runway? Was the pilot trying to take off on a crowded city street?

> The person, who has not been identified, jumped the airport's perimeter fence and was hit two minutes later while crossing the runway, the airport said.

Uh... they're kinda stretching "pedestrian" here a bit in the headline, even though I guess it does meet the dictionary definition.

It’s “undocumented walking” not “trespassing”. No human is illegal!!!

You know this whole tragedy could have been avoided if Boeing used a high-wing design like the Russians did with their Antonov planes and then he couldn't have been sucked in.

At least he died doing what he loved: getting atomized by jet engines.

That could be a great instrument of terror: Specially made stationary jet engines used like remaindering machines.
