The difference in wealth between western countries and non-western countries is primarily the result of hundreds of years of slavery and theft by western empires. Racism was invented as a justification for this exploitation. It is easier to rape someone if you can tell yourself they’re an inanimate object. The west isn’t in absolute decline yet, but it has been in relative decline for decades. The GDP of the United States for example as a percentage of world GDP peaked at 40% in 1960. Now it’s down to 25%. The US economy grew the entire time, but developing countries in places like Asia and Africa grew faster. They’re still not as wealthy, but there are so many more of them it does make a difference in the global balance of power. Racism post 2016 is an emotional outburst against this changing balance, it’s purely reactionary. They want to "save" western (white) countries from becoming non-white and they fantasize about the west (white countries) having dominance over the rest of the world. The only problem is birth rates are below replacement everywhere except for Africa, so Africa will eventually rise to 40% of the world population in 2100. Except the only difference between that and the United States is the US was 40% of the global economy in 1960 due to World War Two. They had no industrial competition.
Ultimately, these idiots will accelerate the decline of the west rather than "save" it. There are demographic and economics reasons why this is the case. Which I can elaborate on if you want me to.

Nobody thinks that all white people are racist, but I’ve found when dealing with racists, they see the world in terms of race so they get more offended if you insult their belief that white culture is the best by belittling white culture rather than belittling them as individuals, since they have low self esteem anyway, and it’s hard to bring it down lower than it already is.

It’s simple psychology. They need to glorify their race because they’re nothing as individuals. If you insult them as an individual they don’t care because they know they’re nothing, so they live vicariously through the myth of their race. But if you insult their race, that hurts them. Basically, every country goes through a demographic transition as it develops into an industrialized economy. This happened to western countries first, so people don’t have the same perception of this and think that western counties were always wealthy but this isn’t the case. Essentially, what’s going on right now is that Europe and the United States are in the late stages of development while African countries are in the early stages.

Poor people tend to have more children than wealthy people. So for example, the United States is populated mostly by non-natives. Whites, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc. Earlier in the history of the United States, when the country was poorer, people used to have more children, so a smaller number of immigrants grew into a large population. And then we industrialized, became wealthy, and our birth rate started falling.

Now the issue is, our birth rate is actually below replacement. If it takes two people to make a baby, one man and one woman, every woman has to have two children on average to at least maintain the population. Technically slightly more than that because some children don’t make it to adulthood. Even in western developed countries some children will get sick or get in an accident etc. This matters because in the past, we were able to sustain our population of retirees because of the fact that the economy as a whole would grow in part because generation after generation you would have more people. So the younger generation could always support the older generation that is no longer working because the younger generation was always larger.

But the issue with this is, is that no country, even the most authoritarian countries like Russia and China have found a way to get people to have more children. We have a lot of technologies that enable us to prevent people from having children, condoms, birth control, abortion, etc. But we don’t have a way to encourage people to have more children. So the only way to sustain the economy of the west is through immigration. The only reason why the American population grows and we have an economy that grows instead of having a shrinking population and a stagnate economy like Japan is because of immigration. White supremacists completely ignore this and say they would rather have a bad economy and "protect their race." The issue with this is that military power is directly correlated to this. And then, some people think AI will save us, but the idea behind AI is you fire the people and replace them with AI. So that’s not exactly great for the common person and won’t encourage people to have more children.
But basically the upshot is we’re in this weird position where non-western countries are still poorer than western countries, but due to demographic reasons if you live in a non-western country you can expect to see an improvement in your standard of living over time, whereas in wealthy developed countries, that’s becoming increasingly unlikely, and that fosters resentment. If you pair that with historical prejudices leftover from the colonial era, it creates a vicious cycle of self destruction.
