Topic: Why did MAGA go anti science?

Anonymous A started this discussion 3 weeks ago #134,768

The anti-vaxx, anti-medicine, miracle cure retardation was a monopoly of the radical left. The granola retards who were the crystal power and New Age types. Now you have RFKook Jr. gutting healthcare and research and shelving an MRNA treatment that was promising against pancreatic cancer (nearly 100% fatal).

The left rejects findings in IQ research.

Cuz science started proving the conspiracy theorists correct.

The base can pray away cooties, and space is for nerds unless billionaires need a parking spot for their satellites.

Are you stupid? If you think the radical left monopolized any of the anti vaxx anti medicine miracle cure bullshit, you might not know your left from your right. Most folks I know that are anti vaxx or anti doctor and stuff like that are conservative or at the least libertarian.

Cool story bro but Steve jobs proves it's not just limited to one wing of the political spectrum

Duh the op also said it was the purview of the radical left, unless you and the op are both illiterate.

It's the radical left who fight hard to bring in immigrants who:

* Increase the labor supply, pushing down wages.
* Increase the housing demand, increasing rents and home prices
* Do not have the education natives have, making them easier to manipulate in elections.

Capitalists are aligned with the radical left.

If you are a working class person, doing actual physical work not office pencil pushing, you are more likely to be voting right wing.

I’m pretty sure you just call anything you mildly disagree with radical because that’s what Trump does and you’re all a bunch of brainless lemmings.

That's not what I said. I said the left (as in democrats) are anti-worker.

This. Decades of pushing atomization with reduced funding for public education has shown a captive audience who is willing to have a battered wife syndrome type relationship type with the government type because they're just easily roused rabble that's well behaved until its their turn to be the niggers.

I would point out that before about ten years ago, there was a large contingent of crunchy leftists (Whole Foods types) who were quite skeptical of big pharma and vaccinations. This is, in fact, the milieu that RFK Jr. came out of. This faction was purged during the COVID era, pushing some of them (like RFK Jr.) towards the right.

I would say that pre-COVID/Trump, this was not "right coded", nor "left coded" but just sort of a fringe in both sides.

Most granolas honestly are just libertarians in disguise my dude, but they lack the political awareness to parse that out between the two party system, or just think they're centerist or independent, ala rfkj.

It's usually the more religious or spiritual of either political ideology that has some higher than though outlook on modern medicine.

@1,434,018 (B)
I'm sorry, I think you're confusing "the left" and "Democrats" with "liberals"
