Which was superior? The Soviet clone or the American original?
I am biased, but the RS-25 shuttle main engines and SRBs (they have an additional block, but it’s still the same casing come on) still fly on the SLS. One of the hangers at Baikonur with a Buran in it collapsed and killed eight people in 2002.
