You already need it to drive anywhere, buy a beer, rent a hotel room, enter a club, or go to the bank.

My state lets you add your ID to your phone's digital wallet.

This ruling doesn't take away your privacy, they could already see your every move.

"I don't want them tracking me" says man with smartphone in his pocket, tracking his every movement.

Argue with cops and you earn what comes to ya. Notice the article brings up race even though Alabama is like half black to start with - media is still at it even after Biden got the boot.

Americans are nice unless there is a slight problem and then they lose minds.

The US collapse is happening very quickly now.

How would you feel if you saw a driver run a stop sign, men spitting, one illegal immigrant vandalizing a wall, two people littering, a fat and tattooed American banging on the window outside of a closed Walmart at 3 AM while screaming that the fucking door must be opened, then watched a thief walking around a parking lot pulling on car door handles, and later saw two stores with broken windows today?

You might want to record the crimes and call the police, but why bother if everything is illegal, those who call 911 are treated like suspects, and the NSA wiretaps phones?

I always hate this rationalization.

Clearly not or they wouldn’t be asking for ID

They could, it would just waste more time.

They already had the option to detain the person, look up their prints, or search for clues to their identity. A letter, card, reciept, anything could tip them off.

Being difficult didn't help anyone, and when we stop pretending it does then these interactions can be quicker and safer.

All I'm saying is, why are you focusing on conspiracy the government is tracking you and walking about oblivious that Google is literally tracking your every movement?

they can demand, that doesn't mean you are obligated to produce

for Christ sake, you don't have to be out of the doors with fucking paperwork
