What if in the 2026 midterms, the democrats take the house and the senate, a democrat wins the presidency in 2028, then in 2029 the AfD wins in Germany, Germany starts the forth reich, and the USA goes full socialist?

If they "take the House and the Senate" as they say together with the Presidency aren't the going to pass an abortion law as they promised?

If the AfD wins aren’t they going to bring the draft back?

The supreme court just voided the voting rights act and allowed racial gerrymandering. The democrats are going to lose in the midterms.

California will be getting 2 republicans to chose between for the election too.

You do realize this also means that democratic states can also rig their elections too, right?

California has already done this.

How did California take advantage of a court ruling that came out this past week all the way back in November? lol

I didn’t say that they took advantage of the current court ruling. My point is that elections are managed at the state level so anything that makes it easier for republicans to rig elections equally makes it easier for democrats to rig elections, so this doesn’t necessarily help republicans.

It could actually hurt them since voters could see this as a desperate move by republicans.

It benefits Republicans much more than Democrats. Go watch any video analyzing how this affects the midterms.

The democrats have an incentive to say it benefits republicans because that will inspire more people to vote democrat, and the republicans have an incentive to say it benefits republicans because they’re republicans and republicans want republicans to win.

And the analysts want to make the right prediction to maintain their reputation.

Analysts on all sides are saying it benefits Republicans.

Now it always can benefit your opponent if your opponent fights dirty, until you also decide to fight dirty. For example, in World War Two, the Nazis and Japanese thought they were so clever for their brutality until the allies started firebombing axis cities and whatnot.
