There’s something so funny about the complete lack of self awareness in the documentary of what they just did. Literally using background music from the last samurai while packing up a German steel mill rebuilding it in China and being like, "Look at what these clever Chinese are doing!" Maybe look at what you dumb westerners are doing, you packed up a literal German steel mill and rebuilt the thing in Shanghai. What were you thinking!

Tbh I’ve never seen the last samurai but I heard the main character who is supposed to be Japanese was played by a white guy… I’m gonna google that after I post this comment to find out whether that’s true or not.

That’s also funny, using music from a movie about Japan where a white guy plays as a samurai in a documentary about China getting a steel mill from Germany. There are just so many levels to it that make it comedic.
