I feel like the English language is missing words to distinguish between certain things. For example, if you say "this or that" do you mean one or the other but not both or do you mean one or the other or both? You would think "either or" would be the same as exclusive or, but it usually implies xor, but it doesn’t always mean xor in every situation. With gender pronouns, there’s a difference between him and his but for women there’s just her and her. Which feels like it’s missing information when you’re talking about women in some specific circumstances. Then there’s "we" when you say "we" do you mean we as in you and a group of other people not including me or you and me? It’s not clear, I feel like those should be two different words.

I mean technically we use the Latin alphabet but we don’t use runes native to the British isles in origin so maybe if you got really technical you could make the insane argument that English doesn’t have an alphabet somehow?

I’ve lived in America my whole life and I’ve never made it out to the southwestern desert states. I do wonder what goes on in places like Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. I remember when I was a kid I was bored looking on google earth and I found groom lake and I was looking at that tiny little airstrip like "woah this is the coolest thing ever it’s a tiny airstrip on a dried up lakebed." Also apparently there are nuclear craters in Nevada in the middle of the desert because we had to nuke ourselves hundreds of times just to be sure our nuclear bombs really do work. Eventually the government realized that yes, nuclear bombs do appear to explode and they stopped doing it.
I lived in Colorado for years. My lady and I planned a whole trip to Las Vegas and Zion national park. We drove through some small towns and they used the mormon letters on some of the signs and neither of us knew what they were.
The people all spoke normal English and were helpful finding gas stations. From what I found online the alphabet is actually easier to use than latin because it was designed for English.
