I’ve heard racists say they think Asians have higher IQs than black people which they’ll use to say that’s why Asians earn more than whites in the US. But one thing I’ve always sort of wondered about, is do racists have an explanation why black Americans earn more than Japanese people in Japan for example? Black Americans are poorer than white Americans, but America is so much richer that black Americans still earn higher salaries on average than Asian in Asian countries. If IQ is really correlated with race and if income is really correlated with IQ then why would a country like Japan be poorer than the US?
For reference, the median salary in Japan is about 4 million yen which is 25,000 USD, and the average salary of an African American is about 55,000 USD.

I was just thinking about it, because some Chinese guy was sort of joking about Mississippi was the poorest state, and then I thought about it, the GDP per capita of Mississippi is higher than the GDP per capita of China.

Of course I don’t believe that IQ is caused by race and I don’t believe that IQ is a major factor in wealth, I’m just wondering, have racists ever thought about this?

True. But I still kind of wonder about this though. Because the logic of white supremacists is that Asians have higher IQs than whites, and whites have higher IQs than blacks, and that IQ correlates with income and that explains why Africa is poor. But I’ve never heard them explain why western countries are richer than Asian countries because that seems to be a big hole in the logic.

Tbh though, I was given an IQ test when I was in middle school and I scored near 140 and I’m black so idk if IQ is really as biased against black people as people say it is. I think they actually just literally make up fake statistics and don’t actually test people. I mean think about it when you see an IQ by country map, how often do you think white guys hop on a plane and head off to Rwanda to find a statistically random sample of Rwandans and give them all IQ tests? Obviously that’s not a real thing anybody’s ever done before.

Also you’d have to wonder why the heck anybody would ever do that. Would you get on a plane to travel to every country in Africa and test hundreds of African people in every African country to get a reliable sample for every single African country with the same test to make sure it’s reliable? Who would pay for that and why?

Especially, I mean some countries in Africa are more stable than others, but in countries with authoritarian governments and/or armed conflicts that are poor where people have limited access to education, I just can’t imagine somebody from outside would ever go into an environment like that to give everybody IQ tests without ulterior motives. Like if I walked up to a homeless guy and handed him a math test, because I was just "curious" if he’s as smart as college students, everybody would think I’m a weirdo for that.

If you go to the south, southerners love sweet tea, it’s just water mixed with sugar, that’s what it tastes like, I know I’m probably not correct that that’s technically what it is, but it really just tastes like a glass of water with an uncomfortable amount of unflavored sugar, and that’s what they do down there.

I have absolutely no doubt that the Japanese diet and probably also the Japanese healthcare system is vastly superior to Americas, but you should assume that by default for any reasonably developed country.

Although, the crazy thing about the south is people are so friendly I’ve met friendly racists. There are people who in real life will smile at you and have a whole conversation with you and then be like "you know, slavery wasn’t that bad."

Although now that I’m thinking about it, the interesting thing is nobody ever insulted me there. People would just say really stupid things to let you know they’re racist, but they never directly insult you.
