Trump is losing the midterms if this war is a flop.
Toss one nuke at the Iranians and the entire system would allow him to suspend elections and he's already said he has two extra supreme court picks he wants in to stack it more.
If he doesn't get decisive the midterms flip congress and then we get a broad because the supreme court says he can't have a third term. The administrative state would bloat and kill us all.

It would be pretty hard to justify using a nuclear weapon. I mean, Japan was pretty bad during World War Two, a lot of people still don’t think that was justified. This makes significantly less sense than that did.
