People who play magic the gathering and meth entrepreneurs.

I haven't been on that site in years. Does it even still exist?

Yes. I know it does because I subscribed to somebody on YouTube who was explaining why Japanese web design is actually not terrible and is okay it’s just they have a different culture. Then she made a video about Indian web design and Indians in the comment section weren’t taking the bs. It’s interesting how the Japanese were okay with pretending bad web design is an interesting cultural quirk and then Indians were like, “No we actually hate this."

But anyway that’s how I found out Craigslist still exists.

Tbh that’s the thing about cultures though. There aren’t really good cultures and bad cultures, some countries are just better at bullshitting. Some people are too honest for their own good.

Japan for example doesn’t have crime. (Don’t ask women.)

But that’s the problem with America actually. We’re too honest. We used to lie about being the best and then we stopped lying one day and started being honest. We need to start lying again!

I checked Craigslist about 6 months ago in my country. Essentially dead.

My theory into why the crime rate in Japan is so low is that citizens know the conviction rate is 99+%. So they know they'll be convicted if they even try to commit a crime.

In my country people know there's a chance they won't be discovered, arrested, prosecuted, convicted and not discharged without conviction. So maybe it's worth trying.

Although that’s basically what Pete Hegseth said on the Shawn Ryan podcast. He didn’t say it quite like that, but if you think about what he said, that’s what he said. We need to start lying to our kids like the Chinese government so they’ll fight and die as loyal soldiers.
