Hell yeah! Donald Trump responded to Iran’s blockade of the strait of Hormuz by blockading the stair of Hormuz! That will show them! Trump is so smart.

I had a long argument with OP about this he has absolutely no idea why the global price of oil affects the domestic price of oil inside the United States. The reason why is because other countries can produce oil that’s less expensive than the oil we produce here in America so we import oil despite producing a surplus of oil, so if we stopped importing oil, the price of oil inside the US would rise. However, he argued against this despite the fact that the war in Iran did make the price of oil rise before he decided to argue about it.

This is utterly meaningless however, because it is both barely coherent with reality, and ignores that there are several grades of oil, each with their own markets.

Are we consuming the gasoline wrong? Should we savor it, huffing in deeply, instead of throwing it away in our cars and trucks? This form of consumption might bring extra value to the consumer; directly to the source, no middle-man.
