I'm going sugar free. Let's see how I go! Posting photos of all the sugary food I eat from now on. I lasted 6 weeks in the past.

PS no, I'm not obese and I'm not becoming diabetic. I have an HgA1C in the normal range.

Good point. It's pretty much impossible to suddenly go sugar free forever. Also I want to celebrate special occasions. But I don't want to get sucked into sugar dependency again.

I have detailed records of my sugar intake for the last 18 months and the longest time I've gone is 7 days.

Basically sugar free means never eating packaged food again. I don’t know how these companies get away with it. The whole misguided fat-free craze of the 1990s led to substitution with sugar, which is worse.

Do not forget to defragment your sugar-pictures! (pronounced as one word)

If you do it correctly, then when you allow yourself to ingest sugar again, more than the absolute bare minimum will disgust you and you will gain an appreciation for "bland"

True. I broke my ankle and was bedridden. 3 weeks without sugar. I went to a cafe. The slice tasted like pure sugar.
