Tomorrow either we’re sending humans back to lunar orbit, or they’re going to find a hydrogen leak on refurbished RS-25 shuttle main engines from the 1980s, because congress though that would be a good idea for some reason.

The development of the SLS rocket actually began in 2011 under the Obama administration so idk why anybody would be surprised about the black pilot to the moon thing.

Literally humans returning back to the moon is one of the greatest accomplishment in the entire history of the human species and insecure white dudes will be sitting back like “Oh no the pilot is a black guy!" Imagine that we went from being slaves that were taken away from our native lands and treated like animals to controlling the most powerful country in the world to orbiting the moon.

I interpreted your "I highly doubt that" comment as you being against a black guy piloting the mission, but if that’s not what you meant then I just misinterpreted what you meant by that.

Which is why it’s fantastic that this whole project was thought up while Obama was still in office because it takes a long time to build a rocket.

I mean, Elon thought he could build a rocket fast, but starship keeps blowing up. The SLS launched successfully to the moon and back on the first attempt. The only problem is NASA was stupid and they gave SpaceX the contract for the lander while NASA built the SLS so now we have an orbiter but they don’t have a lander to land on the moon because Elon Musk isn’t a real genius.

did he get his ass beat? Cuz i made a similar remark under different contexts and the teacher that was directed towards definitely put more juice into paddling a first grader than was necessary, imo.
