Which is a great point, making these hobbyist boards. Social media should be officially redefined as businesses that collate users’ information to target them with ads, and that resell users’ information to data brokers and other third parties.

Jaron Lanier tried warning people about this addictive shit a dozen or more years ago. I'm glad I dumped facebook. I haven't used that place in a long long time. I stayed here and its kept me sane.
