so basically its kind of the brits fault that the world is stuck on a watching 108 year match between the arabs and Israel all because some guy promising land he didn't own, to people who didn't live there, on behalf of a government that wouldn't stick around to deal with the consequences.

They may not teach it (they do) You experience IT as the result of school bullies. Countries are full of people at some level of leaders that covet MORE. Grab ass on a grander scale. Trump is jealous of Venezuela Oil reserves which are MORE MORE and even More.

Not sure what country or state you're from but I can attest growing up all I heard in regards to "world history" were the U.K and its formation. soviet union, WWI/II and the holocaust(for like the 9999th time)

Land grabs are dumb. Look at the French. They’re more enriched by their former colonies now that they don’t directly rule them. Preferential trade deals and the like.
The U.S. could simply garrison Greenland and with the same result. They offered it and mineral access. It will be the gateway to the northwest passage.

Tbh "Christian nationalism" doesn’t exist. It’s just white supremacists who don’t believe in God cosplaying as Christians. If you actually read what Jesus said in the Bible it’s hard to square that with anything that comes out of a Christian nationalist’s mouth.
