Give a guy a gun without any ammunition, tell him to run at the enemy and you’ll shoot him if he turns around so the enemy shoots at him and reveals their position.

Filed under “not nice.” The Russians have been using prisoner soldiers and blocking units since Tsarist times. Blocking units only killed 10,000 or so troops but they returned more than 600,000 to the front.
