The word "Niger" is believed to originate from a Tuareg phrase essentially meaning something along the lines of "big river." Also the Tuareg people are Berber not black, but they’re an ethnic minority in Nigeria with about 30,000 Tuareg people living there. Most of them live outside Nigeria though.

Actually no wait, before the war oil was at $65 / barrel so they were making 110.5 million before when they were selling 1.7 million barrels of oil per day, but now they’re going to be selling 1.8 billion barrels of oil a day at $90 / barrel so they’re actually going to be making $162 million per day, which is 51.5 million extra dollars in revenue for Nigeria per day.
