Topic: Looking for an apartment, find one that's affordable and making minimum wage is above the max income

There's a max income you can have, because it's "low income housing".
I make more than minimum so I obviously don't.
Thinking about it, realized it's only rich kids with parents supporting them that could ever get one of these units. If you don't work, your income is low enough to qualify.
If you make the legal minimum and work full time your income is too high.
All the good welfare programs are rich-only. WTF is wrong with this country? How are people not rioting?

Back in the day I just doctored my pay stub. A digital world is a panopticon of 24/7 surveillance. I had a friend who was a felon. Nobody ran background checks on him because they cost $2,000. Now it’s $15 and a 2-3 minute wait.
Check which item? They could call your employer. I had actual pay stubs as in they didn’t do direct deposit. Now it would be a printout. They could ask to verify.
On the crime thing they only do background checks for management.
