This is kind of stupid because everything is only invented once. You could ask why didn’t Thomas Jefferson invent the lightbulb. Why did it take Thomas Edison? Was Thomas Jefferson stupid?

Africa got internet. China didn’t invent the internet, Russia didn’t, Belgium didn’t, they’ve all got internet. If Africa got internet they got internet. What’s your fucking point?

Woudln't it be craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy if the lightbulb, internet, and moon landing were all the product of white innovation and black people had nothing to do with any of it??

Why do you think black people had nothing to do with the moon landing? What about the human computers?

I’m pretty sure the only way it’s possible to be a racist in the modern day is you just assume white people did everything, don’t google it, and then feel like you’re right because you didn’t bother googling it. It’s lazy, google shit!

4 kb memory. Then NASA spent all of its time on space shuttles and Mars robots. And at least six presidents have promised a return to the moon.

You know, one of the advancements of the Apollo program is that the flight computer had a roll program. The way Russian rockets worked is they would physically rotate the rocket on the launchpad so they could simplify it to a 2D trajectory.

Not related to any point I just thought that was interesting.
Also the source code for the flight computer is on GitHub. There’s one file called "star tables" where it has a list of unit vectors corresponding to the locations of stars for navigation.

Also there are multiple launches. They’re doing it the same way they did the Apollo program where they did an uncrewed launch, then a crewed launch around the moon, then landed on the moon. He’s going to be the first black person to visit the moon, but part of the Artemis program will be to establish a space station in lunar orbit and it’s not very uncommon that the US launches black astronauts so it’s unlikely he’ll be the last either.
