Japan doesn’t have a lot of immigration, but Ireland does.

The theory that importing Muslims is bad for the economy is a fascinating theory with almost as much experimental evidence as string theory.

Fun fact: Japan had an empire, and Ireland was colonized for 800 years.

People say immigration is bad for the economy.

ehh, they're both fine I'd say

@previous (boof)
Japan is ranked #52 with a GDP per capita of $34,713 while Ireland is ranked #5 with a GDP per capita of $129,132.

Ireland compared to Japan is equivalent to Japan compared to Belarus.

Ireland has an economic output that’s almost 4 times higher per person than Japan. But people on the internet will praise Japan for their anti immigrant stance and make fun of Ireland when the Irish economy is way, way better than the Japanese economy.
